New Month – New News!
Wow! September is here already! Are you looking forward to autumn and the cooler temperatures that come with it? I know I am!
A new month means that we have a new Designing Duo for you! Don’t be late for this very important date – it’s the Mad Hatter Tea Party and you must come be part of it! This fantastical kit was created by the design team of Missy’s Bits and Sugar Moon Designs. They have put together a magical kit full of sparkles and flowers and tea cups and JAMMED PACKED with whimsy and merriment! Perfect for all your fun and madcap layouts!
As always, new releases are 50% off Wednesday and 30% off through Saturday!
The layout of the Week is “I Love You,” by DID Member Uinthas. It was chosen for all the great work with the overlapping photos and element clusters. The alternate LOTW is “2010 Appelhof” by AJR65. It’s a lovely and clean layout paying tribute to the passing summer memories. Congratulations to both layouts for being chosen!

Speed Scrap Winner!
The August 4th Speed Scrap was lots of fun! The scrap was hosted by Sugar Moon Designs, and the theme was “Threefer Madness” – which of course means the instructions were all about threes! If you missed the speed scrap this Wednesday – make sure to mark your calendar and be here next Wednesday! It’s a great way to chat with and get to know other digiscrappers – plus you get a layout done! What’s not to love!?
This is the sample Threefer Madness Speedscrap Layout – created by Cristoba of Sugar Moon Deigns. The Speed Scrap instructions are also posted in the Designs In Digital Forum, and layouts are due at noon the following Thursday – so even if you can’t finish in one hour, you still have time to play along and post your layout!
This week’s Speed Scrap Winner was Jazz2000 with her “My Beauty Queen” Layout – It’s so adorable isn’t it!?
Since she was the first one to post her completed layout in the DID gallery, she won a free Mini-Kit from Sugar Moon Designs, Three Little Birds!
TJ7933 also posted a layout, this one is layered so beautifully!

Layouts of the Week
There were so many good layouts this week, it was difficult to choose only two!
The first one is so simple, but so stunning! The silver and pink with the black and white photos is just gorgeous. This layout is called, “Alegria,” by Marla Santos, it was created with the Designs In Digital Collab, “Happy Anniversary.”
The second one is called, “New Baby,” by 11nomee. It’s so sweet and peaceful and just perfect for a new baby! It was created using a new release from Tiger Lily’s Digis, called “Grandma’s Summer Cottage. “
